Peter Slack is a 43 year old 3rd generation hill farmer in the beautiful Peak District National Park.
Farming dairy cattle and sheep with the help of his family and not forgetting Border Collie Meg. It is a typical family hill farm.
After joining the local young farmers club where he met his wife – Peter then went on to win several speaking competitions within the National Young Farmers Movement.
His talent for making people laugh was immediately recognised and he was invited to be guest speaker at a local dinner from there a speaking career was born.
Through word of mouth referrals and recommendations Peter has spoken to audiences from Stockton on Tess to Somerset – from village halls to The Great Hall at St Johns College Cambridge.
His speech is unusual as it is suitable for all female or all male and mixed audiences alike.
With sharp observational humour and an ability to paint word pictures that bring the countryside and its characters hilariously to life.
