Mark Pougatch

Since 1994, Mark has presented Sport on Radio 5 Live, presenting live events such as The World Cup from Japan, and the Final in Yokohama. He has also presented The Grand National, Twickenham Rugby Internationals and English Nationals – among them Germany v Munich. Mark also hosts Sports Report which includes results, interviews and reactions on all the major sporting stories of the day.

Mark’s career has seen him reporting, presenting and commentating on a vast array of major sporting events from around the globe, as well as providing voice-overs for Football Focus and Match of the Day.

Mark has a fortnightly column in The Times sports pull out section called The Game. In March 2012, he won the Sports Journalists’ Association award for Sports Broadcaster of the Year.
