Jackie Bird

Jackie Bird is one of the best-known faces in television in Scotland and can turn her hand to almost anything. She presents BBC Scotland’s flagship nightly news programme Reporting Scotland on Radio Scotland, the Saturday morning show Choice Cuts, and an entertainment series for Radio Scotland – Let’s Do the Show Right Here.

She also hosts other yearly BBC Scotland programmes such as the Hogmanay Show, Music Live and BBC Children In Need. In 2001, Jackie was presenter of Arctic Challenge, a series on endurance racing filmed in Greenland.

Jackie produces and writes a number of other television and radio programmes for Scotland and the network.
