Gladstone Small
Gladstone Small was a fast bowler who played for Warwickshire and was a key figure in their all-conquering year in 1994.
He played for England in 17 Test matches and 53 One Day International games and had his moment of glory to help England retain the Ashes in 1986-87. He was a last-minute replacement and he stunned a Boxing Day crowd of 58,000 at the MCG by taking 5 for 48. Australia were rolled over for 141. England won and Gladstone was named Man of the Match.
Gladstone is now one of the popular speakers on the after dinner speaking circuit.
