Dean Windass

Dean retired from football in October 2009 at the age of 40, after a prolonged career spanning 20 years, that saw him make over 700 appearances scoring more than 200 goals and playing for 9 clubs.
He is perhaps best remembered for scoring the winning goal for Hull City in the Wembley Play Off Final in 2008, which gained his home town club promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history. Dean played for Hull City in 3 spells, and has been voted the 4th best player of all time by The Hull City fans.
Dean also enjoyed 2 spells at Bradford City, helping them gain Promotion to the Premier League in 1999, and he is the clubs 3rd highest goal scorer of all time.
Dean is now establishing a new career in the media, and is a regular pundit and summariser on Sky Sports and the BBC.
